Tweaks Of The Week: StatusBarSeconds, CustomColor, InstaURL, LaunchVibrate, and AutoScroller

There have been a lot of tweaks that have come out this week. Many of these tweaks can be useful, but some are just for plain out fun. This week we review StatusBarSeconds, CustomColor, InstaURL, LaunchVibrate, and AutoScroller.
StatusBarSeconds is a free tweak that puts seconds on your status bar’s clock. I find this tweak pretty neat because I like to know the seconds of the day. The developer mentioned that there might be somebattery drainage due to the constant updating of the time. I, however, have not seen any battery issues, although I did see that my iPhone was a little buggy and even went into Safe Mode a couple of times. There are no options to configure for this tweak.
CustomColor is a free tweak that allows you to change the color of your icon labels. Now there is a lot oftweaks like this out there, but I think this tweak puts all the others down at the bottom. This tweak has a lot of options where you can configure in the settings application. The nice thing about this tweak is that you can have a different color for you undocked icon labels than your docked icon labels. The down side of this tweak is that you have to respring everytime you change the colors.
InstaURl is a Cydia tweak that allows you to instantly search on the web or put go to any URL instantly through an Activator action. There is some options in the settings panel. These options include which action you want for the tweak and what search engine you would like to use. You can choose from Google, Bing, and Yahoo. This tweak is 99¢ on Cydia.
If there was a list of useless tweaks, LaunchVibrate would make it on this list. This tweak is free on Cydiaand all it does is vibrate whenever you open an app from your springboard. To make this tweak work, youmust have vibrate on.
AutoScroller is a spin-off tweak of PhyScroll, a tweak that we have reviewed before. Some differences between these tweaks are that AutoScroller is free and AutoScroller only uses the volume buttons or any other Activator action instead of your accelerometer. You can configure the options in the settings application. The options that you can configure is the speed of scroll and the Activator actions to scroll up or down.I like this tweak a lot, but the downside is that you can’t stop it from going up or down without tapping on your screen. It would be easier if we had a stop action or if you had the opposite action to stop it from going up or down.
